The project “How not to get lost at home?” was created to support families, which consider or have already entered a universe of homeschooling.
Homeschooling has recently gained significant popularity in Poland. To answer raising needs, we have developed four e-books aimed at parents and conducted one video training session summarizing concerning topics. In the 2022/2023 school year, a dedicated group of parents participated in a series of 10 tutoring group meetings, culminating in a study-visit to Iceland.
This project was a collaborative effort with two alternative Polish schools, bringing together families engaged in homeschooling (Wolna Szkoła Ursynów and Akademia Dobrej Edukacji Jabłonna), the consulting company up!homo, facilitating the implementation of innovative educational solutions, and the expert support of Asgardur – an institution pioneering hybrid and remote education in Iceland. Asgardur is also the founder of the Icelandic School in the Cloud.

The Project number EOG/21/K4/W/0136 "How not to get lost at home? - proposing a cooperation model for schools, Homeschooling students and their parents: proven methods and new solutions - for those who consider it" benefits from a grant of about 150 000 EUR received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as part of the EEA Grants.
The grant was awarded under the Education Programme 2014-2021.
The implementation period of the project is April 2022 - July 2023. The Project aims to improve the quality of the didactic process by facilitating good school-student-parent relations and strengthening the competences of adults taking over the supervision of the child’s education outside school.
